Waterbury, Conn. - The Post University women's basketball team looks to keep its undefeated Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference season alive as it takes on Wilmington Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Drubner Center.
In their last game, the Eagles defeated Felician, 99-76 behind 28 points from senior Jacquelynne Pugh (Grahamsville, N.Y.). Pugh was deadly from deep, hitting 5 of 6 from three-point range.
Junior Deaisia Acklin (Bronx, N.Y.) finished with a double-double (19 points, 10 rebounds), sophomore Liz Falcigno (Middletown, Conn.) scored 16 and freshman Lexus Childs-Harris (New London, Conn.) chipped in with 13 points.
The Eagles took the lead with 16:12 remaining in the first half and never looked back in the win. They were up by as much as 32 points.
Post now stands at 2-3 overall and 2-0 in the CACC.

Pugh is currently tied for ninth in scoring in the conference at 14.2 points per game. She is also ninth in field goal percentage at 49.0 percent and third in three-point percentage at 52.9 percent.
About Wilmington
The Wildcats are currently 1-7 overall and 0-2 in the CACC to begin the season. They dropped their first five games of the season before defeating Elizabeth City State, 73-70 in overtime on Nov. 28. Wilmington has lost its two most recent games, including a 72-57 defeat by the hands of Chestnut Hill on Dec. 3.
Wilmington is lead by Tenicia Spence, who is fifth in the conference in scoring at 16.6 points per game. Jasmine Lee is currently tops in the CACC in field goal percentage at 75.9 percent.
