Philadelphia, Pa. Â - The Post University Cross Country teams wrapped up its Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference season at the CACC Championships at Belmont Plateau in Philadelphia.
In the men's race, Philadelphia won the title with 45 points. The Eagles finished 6th with 179 points.
Sophomore
Ryan Acey (Plainville, Conn.) finished 18th overall with a time of 29:11 in the 5-mile race. Teammate and classmate
John Ducham (Waterbury, Conn.) finished just three seconds behind Acey and finished 19th. Sophomore Matt Satkowski (Southbury, Conn.), finished 45th with a time of 32:31. Junior Thomas Mashia (Naugatuck, Conn.) and senior
Jesse Perez (Waterbury, Conn.) both finished in the top 50 for Post.
Curran Kneebone of Philadelphia won the individual title with a time of 27:17. Teammate Eric Lacy was second at 27:27.
The Lady Eagles finished 12th out of 14 teams with 339 points as Philadelphia took home the title with 29 points.
The leading finisher for the Eagles was freshman Deanna Jo Alberto (Waterbury, Conn.) who finished 53rd overall with a time of 23:27. Senior Brienna McClarin (Brooklyn, N.Y.) finished right behind Alberto in 54th, with a time of 23:28.
Philadelphia's Emilie Barton won the individual title at 19:55.
Up next for the Eagles is the NCAA Division II East Regional on Nov. 22 at noon.
