Coverage: Live Stats

WATERBURY, Conn. –The Post University women's volleyball team prepares to host its first Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) tournament game since the 2005 season. The Eagles will welcome the Rams of Philadelphia University to the Drubner Center for a Quarterfinal showdown on Tuesday, Nov. 8. First serve is set for 7 p.m.

Scouting the Opposition
The Rams finished 15-14 in the regular season and 12-7 in CACC play, securing the third seed in the South Division. Philadelphia is riding a two game winning streak, having recently swept Goldey-Beacom and Bloomfield at home. The Rams will target junior Chelsea Hughes to carry the load offensively. Hughes has recorded 349 kills on the season connecting for a .263 hitting percentage. The Rams also rely heavily on defensive production from their bigs. Three Philadelphia players rank in the top six in the conference in blocks per set. The Rams will also lean on sophomore libero Michele Chai to handle the high-powered Eagle offense. Chai ranks fourth in the CACC in total digs with 549, averaging 4.73 per set. The Rams lost in the CACC Championship match a season ago to Georgian Court.

All-Time Series vs. Philadelphia
The Eagles have won just one game in 11 meetings against the Rams, however the lone win came at the Drubner Center. The teams have met just once during the regular season, and Post dropped a heartbreaker in five sets in Philadelphia, Pa. Since joining the conference, Post has never faced Philadelphia in the postseason. The Eagles have won five consecutive and will look to capitalize on their home court advantage to get even with the Rams in the biggest game of the season.
