MIDDLEBURY, Conn. – The Post University cross country team hosted the Post Invitational on Wednesday, Oct. 22 at Hop Brook State Park in Middlebury, Conn. The men's team earned a victory against each of the other three teams, while the women picked up one win.
 
Sophomore Ryan Acey (Plainville, Conn.) placed second overall on the 5K course at a time of 16:07:73. Sophomores Patrick Alves (Naugatuck, Conn.) and Matthew Satkowski (Southbury, Conn.) placed fifth and sixth at times of 17:04:94 and 17:09:87, respectively.
 
Freshman Deana-Jo Alberto (Waterbury, Conn.) also placed second for Post with a time of 19:41:56. Senior Brienna McClellan (Brooklyn, N.Y.) clocked in at 20:36:93, good for eighth place.
 
The Eagles return to action on Sunday, Nov. 2 at the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championships at Fairmount Park in Belmont Plateau, Pa.
