Eagles Golf 15th After First Round of Connecticut Cup

Tian and Fernandez Lead Post

ELLINGTON, Conn. – The Post University golf team is 15th after 18 holes at the Connecticut Cup at Ellington Ridge Country Club in Ellington, Conn. Sophomore Tim Tian (Beijing, China) and freshman Carlos Fernandez (Madrid, Spain) lead the Eagles.
 
Tian and Fernandez are tied for 75th, both shooting an 81 in the first round of the 54-hole tournament. Freshman Kyle Hughes (Pulaski, N.Y.) is just behind them with an 82 after 18-holes.
 
The Eagles will finish the second round and play the third round tomorrow.
