Post Sits In 17th After Day Two Of NCAA Atlantic/East Regional

Earnshaw Shoots Eagles’ Low-Round Of 76 On Tuesday

WHEELING, W.Va. – The Post University golf team faces a tough task to advance out of the NCAA Atlantic/East Regional for the second-consecutive season. The Eagles carded a team score of 317 in Tuesday's second round and are in 17th place at 640 (323-317) heading into the final day.
 
Junior Ross Earnshaw (York, England) shot a 76 and sits in a tie for 38th through 36-holes at 156 (79-76). Senior Thomas Rees (Cardiff, Wales) is on stroke behind him at 157 (75-82) and is tied for 46th.
 
Sophomore Anthony McNamara (Beacon Falls, Conn.) improved by six shots on Tuesday with a 78 and sits in 75th at 162 (84-78). Sophomore Nick Daven (Woodbury, Conn.) shot an 81 and is at 165 (84-81) for the tournament. Freshman Patrick Hartnett (Chicago, Ill.) matched his day one score of 88 and is at 176 (88-88).
 
Wilmington continues to lead by four strokes after two rounds with a 301 on Tuesday and 599 (298-301) overall. Indiana (Pa.), who had the low round of the tournament at 295, and Millersville are second and third, respectively. Millersville's Robert Coyne is the top individual at 143 (73-70).
 
The Eagles tee-off final round tomorrow from the 10th tee at 8:20 a.m.
