Post Tied For Eighth After First Round Of Barton Intercollegiate

Three Eagles Tied For 11th After 18 Holes

Round One - Individual

WILSON, N.C. – The Post University golf team sits in a tie for eighth place after 18 holes at the Barton Intercollegiate on Monday. The Eagles shot an opening round 311 at Wilson Country Club in Wilson, N.C.
 
Junior Ross Earnshaw (York, England), senior Thomas Rees (Cardiff, Wales), and sophomore Anthony McNamara (Beacon Falls, Conn.) are all tied for 11th after carding two-over par 74 on the day. All three shot their best round of the spring season on Monday.
 
Nick Daven shot an 89 and is in 75th. Sophomore Jay Gerrick (London, England) is tied for 76th after a first-round 90.
 
Brad Thorn of Erksine holds a one-shot lead through 18 holes after a three-under 69. King College is first overall at 289.
 
Round two tees off tomorrow morning with a shotgun start at 10 a.m.
