PREVIEW: Women's Basketball Looks To Stay Undefeated In CACC

WATERBURY, Conn - The Post University women's basketball team looks to remain unbeaten in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference as it takes on Wilmington in a road game on Saturday, Dec. 7 at 1 p.m. Currently, the Eagles are tied for first in the North Division in the CACC with Bloomfield.
The Eagles (3-5, 3-0 CACC) are coming off of a 101-60 defeat at the hands of New York Institute of Technology on Dec. 1. In that game, senior Aubrey Latham (Mystic, Conn.) led the team with 13 points and senior Raven Wright-James (Middletown, Conn.) finished with a double-double, scoring 11 points and grabbing 11 rebounds.
Moving Up The List
Latham currently sits second all-time in Post University history in scoring. She has 1,380 points in her illustrious career, trailing just Tracey Garofalo (Class of 2002) who finished her career with 1,510 points.
League Leaders
Latham currently leads the conference in scoring at 23.2 points a game. She is also first in field goal percentage at 57.3 percent. Wright-James is currently first in the conference in total defensive rebounds with 58.
Last Time They Met
In their matchup last season on Dec. 1, 2012, the Eagles jumped out to a 20 point halftime lead and trounced Wilmington, 86-75. Six players scored in double figures for the Eagles.

Scouting The Wildcats
Wilmington is 1-4 on the young season and 1-1 in conference play. Its lone win came on Nov. 26 against Chestnut Hill, 78-68. The Wildcats lead the conference in rebounding at 46.6 per game and are also near the top at 9.6 steals per contest. Wilmington is led by Tenicia Spence who is second in the CACC at 20.6 points per game. She is the only Wildcat who averages double figures. Tashea Plummer leads the team with 8.4 rebounds per game.
