Andre Lindsay (Clarendon, Jamaica) made a stop on a penalty kick in the 86
th minute to preserve the Post University men's soccer team's 4-3 victory over Bloomfield on Monday afternoon in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Quarterfinals. It was the first time all season the Eagles have allowed more than one goal in a game.

Terrell Whitting (Naugatuck, Conn.) put Post ahead 1-0 in the 3
rd minute off a long throw in by senior
Joe Baccielo (Stratford, Conn.) that deflected of senior
Ani Lekaj (Sherman, Conn.). Bloomfield quickly answered back as Bendjy Cetoute scored on a rebound off his free kick in the 6
th minute.

Sophomore
Francisco Sastre (Sao Paolo, Brazil) scored the first of his two goals in the 29
th minute. Baccielo took a shot at a tough angle in close that saved by the Deacons' keeper but Sastre booted home the rebound. The Eagles went into the break ahead 2-0.

Senior
Henry Ipina (Danbury, Conn.) received a pass from junior
Souleymane Kone (New York, N.Y.) just outside the penalty area and chipped it over the keeper's head for a goal. Sastre added his second in the 76
th minute after he gain control of the ball, beat a defender and scored on a hard shot to the upper left corner.

The Deacons would not go away as Amin Miller scored in the 78
th and 83
rd minutes to pull Bloomfield within one. Lindsay sealed the game with his save of the penalty kick by Morgan Lebeurre.

Post outshot Bloomfield 15-13, but the Deacons held a 9-7 advantage in the second half. Whitting led Post with four shots on the day. Claude Allen and Amin Miller each had three shots for Bloomfield.

The Eagles will head to Wilmington on Wednesday, Nov. 6 to take on the fourth-seeded Wildcats in the CACC Semifinals. Game time is set for 11 a.m.Â
