WATERBURY, Conn. -Â The Post University women's basketball team gets back into action on Nov. 22 as it takes on Southern Connecticut State University in a non-conference matchup in New Haven, Conn. at 2 p.m. in the first of two matchups between the teams this season.
The Eagles are coming off of a dominating 93-82 win over Nyack in the home opener at the Drubner Center on Nov. 20. In the game, senior
Aubrey Latham (Mystic, Conn.) scored 30 points to lead the Eagles. She also surpassed Tadj Williams for second place all-time on the school's scoring list. She currently sits at 1,326 points in her career and trails only Tracey Garofolo (Class of 2002), who had 1,510 points in her career. Four other players scored in double figures as well for the Eagles: sophomore
Hailey Griffin (Plainfield, Conn.) scored 16, senior
Raven Wright-James (Middletown, Conn.) chipped in with 15 points and 10 rebounds, and junior
Jacquelynne Pugh (Grahamsville, N.Y.) and freshman
Liz Falcigno (Middletown, Conn.) each had 12 points.

The Eagles currently sit at 2-3 overall, and are 2-0 in the conference, good enough for the top spot in the North Division of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference. Post also leads the conference at 83.8 points per game.
League Leader
Latham currently leads the CACC in points per game (26.4) and field goal percentage (60.0). She is fourth in three-point percentage at 48.1 percent.
Who To Watch On The Owls
The Owls, of the Northeast-10 Conference, come into the game with a 2-2 record (0-1 NE-10) after alternating wins and losses to begin the season. In their most recent game they dropped a 92-66 decision to Aldelphi.
The Owls are led by Taylor McLaughlin who leads the team in points and rebounds per game at 15.0 and 8.3, respectively. Jackie Beathea averages 12.8 and 8.0, respectively.
History Lesson
The Owls and Eagles do not have much of a storied history against each other, having played just once. The Owls won the game, 76-71 on Nov. 21, 2009.
