WATERBURY, Conn. – The Post University women's basketball team opens its home schedule on Wednesday, Nov. 20 as it take on the Nyack Warriors at 6 p.m. at the Drubner Center in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) matchup.
In the last game for the Eagles on Nov. 16, they dropped a 77-71 decision to Southern New Hampshire University. In that game, senior
Aubrey Latham (Mystic, Conn.) scored 29 points to pace the Eagles in a tightly contested matchup.
LATHAM HONORED
Latham was honored as the CACC Player of the Week for her performance last week. In two games last week, - a 101-80 win over Concordia on Nov. 13 and the 77-71 loss to SNHU - Latham averaged 31 points per game, including a career high 33 against Concordia. It was the second time in Latham's career she received the honor. She was the second member of the team honored this season after
Hailey Griffin was named Defensive Player of the Week on Nov. 11.
APPROACHING THE RECORD
With her performance last week, Latham got closer to the school's all-time scoring record. She currently sits at 1,296 points in her time as an Eagle. She trails Tadj Williams (Class of 2006) by 25 points for second place all-time.

RIVALRY RENEWED
The two CACC foes have played 22 times in their history which is tied for the most games Post (1-3, 1-0 CACC) has played against any opponent. It has been quite the duel as the Eagles lead the series, 13-9, including winning the last three matchups.
In the two meetings between the team last season, Post won at Nyack (1-4, 0-1 CACC) 73-46 on Nov. 14, 2012 thanks to 15 points and seven rebounds by
Raven Wright-James (Middletown, Conn.) and 13 points by Latham. Post jumped out to a 30-16 lead at halftime and never looked back.
In their second matchup of the season, the Eagles trounced the Warriors with ease again in an 80-61 win at the Drubner Center, as four players scored in double figures. Latham had 16 and sophomore
Hailey Griffin (Plainfield, Conn.) had 14.
