PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Post University cross country team ran in the Jack Saint Clair Memorial Cross Country Championships at Belmont Plateau in Philadelphia, Pa. on Saturday. The men finished in eighth on the 8K course. Senior Veronica Blekis (Plymouth, Conn.) placed 31^st for the women.
 
Freshman John Ducham (Waterbury, Conn.) placed 20^th overall out of 82 runners with a time of 29:37. Freshman Matthew Satkowski II (Southbury, Conn.) clocked a time of 31:39 and finished 45^th. Freshman William Robinson (Danbury, Conn.) placed 46^th at 31:50.
 
Blekis ran the 6K women's course in 27:45. Sophomore Jessica Lavelle (Thurmont, Md.) placed 70^th at 32:02. Senior Carly Puzake clocked in a 32:23 and finished 72^nd.
 
The Eagles will run the same course again for the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championships on Sunday, Oct. 27. The meet kicks off at 10 a.m.
