After a short weekend road trip, the Post University women's basketball team is back at home to face Nyack in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) matchup. The Eagles defeated the Warriors 73-46 on the road Nov. 14. Nyack comes into the contest looking for its first win of the season.

Monique Chance (Brooklyn, N.Y.) recorded her six double-double of the season and fourth consecutive with 12 points and 10 rebounds.
A jumper by Taylor Peltzer at the 10:56 mark of the second half gave the Rams their largest lead of the afternoon at 54-30. Post closed the gap to single-digits at 60-52 with 3:00 left as junior
Fernanda Mansilla (Ancud, Chile) found senior
Casey Brooks (Highland, N.Y.) open for a three-pointer. On the Eagles next possession freshman Haley Griffin (Plainfield, Conn.) made two free throws to make the score 62-57 with 1:32 left. The Eagles couldn't manage to get any closer as the Rams went 6-for-6 from the free throw line down the stretch to hold on for the 70-63 victory.
SERIES HISTORY:
Post has a 12-9 record against the Warriors since 2003. The Eagles have easily dealt with Nyack in the last two matchups, winning by an average of 36 points. Post defeated the Warriors on the road 73-46 earlier this season.
Raven Wright-James led the Eagles with 15 points in the victory.

Nyack has struggled this season and sits at 0-12 overall and 0-5 in CACC play. The Warriors have lost 24 consecutive games, with their last victory coming in a 71-65 triumph over Post on Jan. 12, 2012. They have not won on the road since 2011. Nyack is near the bottom of the conference in most statistical categories. They are sixth in the CACC with 3.2 blocks per game and 19.2 turnovers per contest. Senior guard Khamari Tellis leads the Warriors with 10.9 points per game and 6.5 rebounds per game.

Aubrey Latham leads the CACC in shooting percentage behind the arc at 40.9%. Latham is also sixth in scoring at 16.2 points per contest.

LIVE BY THE THREE
The Eagles have been knocking down shots from behind the arc all season. In all seven victories this season, Post has taken over 20 shots from distance and made at least seven. The Eagles are the top three-point shooting team in the conference at 6.9 made per game. Against Bloomfield on Jan. 3, they made a season-high 15 from distance on 50.0% shooting.
DISHING OUT THE ASSISTS
Junior
Fernanda Mansilla has been putting her teammates in position to score all season. She has 74 total assists on the season and leads the CACC and is eighth in the nation with 5.6 assists per contest. Against Chestnut Hill on Dec. 8, Mansilla dished out 11 assists, the highest total by an Eagle since the 2004-05 season.
CLIMBING UP THE CAREER LIST
With at team-leading 134 rebounds this season,
Monique Chance has moved into second place in Post history for career rebounds. Chance sits at 690 boards for her career. Tadj Williams, who played from 2003-06, is first with 891 career rebounds.
RACKING UP THE DOUBLE DOUBLES
Monique Chance has been filling the box score all season. She has six double-doubles which is good for 18
th in the nation. Chance is currently riding a streak of four consecutive double-digit points and rebounds games. Last season, Chance recorded seven double-doubles and she has 17 total in her career.
COUNTDOWN TO 1,000 POINTS
Aubrey Latham comes into the week with 957 career points and is just 43 points away from joining the 1,000-point club. Latham has averaged 12.6 points per game against the Warriors in five career games. He best outing was a 24-point outburst in a 71-65 defeat on Jan. 12, 2012.
LONGEST IN PROGRAM HISTORY
The Eagles posted their longest conference winning streak in program history as they won nine straight CACC games from Feb. 11-Dec. 19, 2012. Post closed out the 2011-12 season with four consecutive conference wins. The Eagles began 2012-13 with their best-ever CACC start with five straight victories. Post defeated Chestnut Hill, Wilmington, and Nyack twice during the streak. Felician ended the stretch with a 68-66 win over Post on Dec. 19.
PRESEASON PROGNOSTICATIONS
Post was selected to finish fifth in the North Division of the CACC in the preseason poll announced on Nov. 12. The Eagles received 35 total points in the poll. Caldwell garnered 89 points and 11 first place votes and was selected as the North Division favorite. Defending conference champion, Holy Family, earned 95 points and 11 first place votes and was tabbed as the South Division favorite.

Aubrey Latham captains for the 2012-13 season. Brooks is one of the Eagles' top shooters. She led the team and was second in the conference with a 38.9 shooting percentage from behind the arc. Chance was 13th in NCAA Division II with 11.3 rebounds per game and named CACC Honorable Mention in 2011-12. Latham led the Eagles in scoring in 2011-12, averaging 15.5 points per game. She comes into the season just 238 points away from 1,000 for her career.
