GAME CENTER:
The Post University women's basketball team returns home after a quick two-game road trip for its final non-conference game of the season as Mercy from the East Coast Conference (ECC) comes to the Drubner Center on Monday, Jan. 21. The Eagles have lost their last two games, but have won two straight at home. Post is 1-5 against non-conference opponents this season with its lone win coming on Dec. 6 at Molloy, 73-72.

A 16-0 run over the final 4:15 proved to be the difference as Post fell at Concordia 84-70 on Jan. 15.
Aubrey Latham led all scorers with 21 points on the night to become the fifth member of the Eagles' 1,000-point club. Latham reached the milestone with a layup at the 8:10 mark of the first half that closed the deficit to 23-20 and sparked an 11-0 run by the Eagles. She also added six rebounds, four assists, and four steals.
Consecutive long balls by Latham,
Raven Wright-James, and
Jessica Webber gave Post a 29-23 advantage with 6:30 left in the half. The Clippers answered with a 12-5 run to go ahead 35-34 at the 2:22 mark.
Monique Chance hit a free throw to tie the game 35-35 at the intermission.
A three-pointer by
Hailey Griffin put the Eagles ahead 70-68 with 4:15 remaining in the game, but Post would not score again. Concordia tied the game minutes later on two free-throws by Mariah Berry and scored 16 straight to close out the game. The Clippers were 9-for-13 from the foul line over the final 4:15.
SERIES HISTORY:
The Eagles and the Mavericks have squared off three times since 2008 with Post winning two of the matchups. The Eagles lost 70-64 in their only trip to Mercy on Nov. 20, 2008. Neither team has ever defeated the other on the road.

SCOUTING THE MAVERICKS
Mercy has struggled this season and comes into Monday night at a record of 0-14 overall and 0-7 in ECC play. The Mavericks have lost 16 consecutive games dating back to last season and have just one road victory since 2010. Mercy is 0-3 against Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) teams this season, losing to Philadelphia, Holy Family, and Chestnut Hill. Senior guard Aysha Williams leads the squad with 12.3 points and 2.4 assists per game. She also grabs 5.4 rebounds per contest. The Mavericks are in the sixth in the ECC with 60.4 field goal attempts per game and fifth with 16.0 three-point attempts per game.
LATHAM SCORES 1,000 IN HER CAREER
Aubrey Latham scored 21 points against Concordia on Jan. 15 to join the Eagles' 1,000-Point Club. She hit the milestone with a layup in the first half against the Clippers. Latham is the fifth player in Post University history to score 1,000 points.

GRIFFIN HONORED AS TOP ROOKIE
Freshman
Hailey Griffin was chosen as CACC Rookie of the Week on Jan. 14. Griffin averaged 12.5 points in two games for the week of Jan. 6- Jan. 12., including a career-high 14 points in an 80-61 victory over Nyack. She was 9-for-16 from the floor and 6-for-8 from distance for the week. She is the first Eagle to be honored by the conference this season.

EAGLES AMONG CACC LEADERS
Post averages 7.7 three-pointers made per game to lead the CACC and is second with a 32.0 shooting percentage from deep. The Eagles are also the highest scoring team in the conference at 67.4 points per game.

Aubrey Latham is fifth in the CACC with 16.7 points per game and three-point shooting percentage at 35.9%.

LIVE BY THE THREE
The Eagles have been knocking down shots from behind the arc all season. In all eight victories this season, Post has taken over 20 shots from distance and made at least seven. The Eagles are the top three-point shooting team in the conference at 7.7 made per game. Against Bloomfield on Jan. 3, they made a season-high 15 from distance on 50.0% shooting.
DISHING OUT THE ASSISTS
Junior
Fernanda Mansilla has been putting her teammates in position to score all season. She leads the CACC and is eighth in the nation with 5.7 assists per contest. Her 97 assists is the sixth-best single-season total in school history. Against Chestnut Hill on Dec. 8, Mansilla dished out 11 assists, the highest total by an Eagle since the 2004-05 season.
CLIMBING UP THE CAREER LIST
With at team-leading 157 rebounds this season,
Monique Chance has moved into second place in Post history for career rebounds. Chance sits at 713 boards for her career. Tadj Williams, who played from 2003-06, is first with 891 career rebounds.
RACKING UP THE DOUBLE DOUBLES
Monique Chance has been filling the box score all season. She has six double-doubles which is good for 30
th in the nation. Chance saw her streak of four consecutive double-digit points and rebounds games end Jan. 9 against Nyack. Last season, Chance recorded seven double-doubles and has 17 total in her career.
LONGEST IN PROGRAM HISTORY
The Eagles posted their longest conference winning streak in program history as they won nine straight CACC games from Feb. 11-Dec. 19, 2012. Post closed out the 2011-12 season with four consecutive conference wins. The Eagles began 2012-13 with their best-ever CACC start with five straight victories. Post defeated Chestnut Hill, Wilmington, and Nyack twice during the streak. Felician ended the stretch with a 68-66 win over Post on Dec. 19.
PRESEASON PROGNOSTICATIONS
Post was selected to finish fifth in the North Division of the CACC in the preseason poll announced on Nov. 12. The Eagles received 35 total points in the poll. Caldwell garnered 89 points and 11 first place votes and was selected as the North Division favorite. Defending conference champion, Holy Family, earned 95 points and 11 first place votes and was tabbed as the South Division favorite.

Aubrey Latham captains for the 2012-13 season. Brooks is one of the Eagles' top shooters. She led the team and was second in the conference with a 38.9 shooting percentage from behind the arc. Chance was 13th in NCAA Division II with 11.3 rebounds per game and named CACC Honorable Mention in 2011-12. Latham led the Eagles in scoring in 2011-12, averaging 15.5 points per game. She comes into the season just 238 points away from 1,000 for her career.
