Unbeaten in its last six matches with a mark of 4-0-2 during the stretch, the Post University men's soccer team will take to the road for a pair of tests this week. The Eagles will be at Concordia on Wednesday, Sept. 26, before they travel to #15 Southern New Hampshire for a non-conference match Saturday night.

Joe Baccielo (Stratford, Conn.), Post remained unbeaten in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play this season. The Eagles earned a 4-0 victory over Wilmington at LaMoy Field on Saturday afternoon. Post is 2-0-2 in CACC play.

Errol Reid (St. Elizabeth, Jamaica) made six saves to earn his third shutout of the season. Classmate
Eltany Morais (Cape Verde Islands) finished the match with a goal and an assist, while junior
Kevin Ipina (Danbury, Conn.) added two helpers. Baccielo has scored 10 goals in seven matches this season. As a team, the Eagles outscored the opposition 7-1 this week at LaMoy Field.
CACC Players Of The Week Twice In A Row:
Baccielo was named the CACC Player of the Week on Monday afternoon after he notched a nine points (four goals, one assist) in two CACC matches last week. He netted a goal in 3-1 win over Dominican before he turned in three goals and an assist in 4-0 win against Wilmington. The three-goal outburst was his second of the season. Baccielo is on a six-game point scoring streak and has posted at least five points in three matches this season. He leads the CACC in goals (10) and points (23). Baccielo sits tied for second in assists with three.
Last week, senior
Francis Eno (Powder Springs, Ga.) netted his first three goals of the season at Philadelphia on Saturday afternoon in a 3-3 double overtime draw en route to CACC Player of the Week honors. Eno opened the scoring in the third minute of the match, and added two second half tallies in the contest. His final goal of the match came from 35 yards out in the 83
rd minute to give Post (2-1-2) a 3-2 lead. Eno was also lauded as the ECAC Offensive Player of the Week on Sept. 18.
Six Straight With A Point:
Baccielo is on a six-match point scoring streak, a stretch that dates back to Sept. 1, when he tallied a hat trick in a 3-0 win over AIC. During that time, Baccielo has scored at least five points in three contests.
All-Time Series With Concordia:
Post is 6-1 against Concordia since the Eagles were granted full NCAA Division II membership. Despite a loss in the first meeting, Post has won the last six matches in the series and is 2-0 in road contests. Last season, the Eagles earned a 5-3 win on the newly resurfaced LaMoy Field on Oct. 13, 2011.

Preseason Prognostications:
The Post men's soccer team was pegged as the favorite to win the CACC in the preseason poll, which was announced by conference officials on Aug. 22. The defending regular season champions, Post was awarded four first-place votes and 127 points by the league's 12 head coaches.
Reigning Regular Season Champs:
Powered by an 8-2-1 conference record during the 2011 campaign, the Post men's soccer team claimed its first CACC Regular Season Title in program history. The Eagles clinched the title with a 1-0 overtime victory over Holy Family on Oct. 22, after a goal by
Francis Eno (Powder Springs, Ga.) with 12 seconds remaining in the contest. Post was the top seed in the conference tournament, which it lost in the championship match.
Humble Tournament Hosts:
Post University will serve as the host of the 2012 CACC men's and women's soccer championship from Nov. 1-3. The conference tournament semifinals and championship games will be contested at LaMoy Field. Following the quarterfinals at campus sites, the four remaining teams in both the men's and women's bracket will advance to the neutral site in Waterbury.
On The Horizon:
The Eagles will wrap up a three-match road swing on Tuesday, Oct. 2, when it travels to Bloomfield for a CACC match. First touch is scheduled for 7 p.m.
