Women’s Tennis Drops 9-0 Decision To Philadelphia

Post Loses Third Straight CACC Match To Open 2012 Season

WATERBURY, Conn. – The Post University women's tennis team lost its third straight Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match to open the 2012 season. The Eagles fell to Philadelphia 9-0 at Chase Collegiate School on Saturday afternoon.

 

In singles action, junior Pamela Ifill (Waterbury, Conn.) dropped her match at first singles to Sayre Limburg 6-0, 6-1. Ifill was one of two Eagles to pick up a game in singles competition. Junior Rebecca Erb (Yardley, Pa.) fell at third singles to Olivia Amato. The final score was 6-1, 6-0.

 

Post (0-3, 0-3 CACC) was held at love in all three doubles matches.

 

Philadelphia improved to 4-3 overall, and 1-3 in conference contests.

 

The Eagles will return to the courts on Tuesday, when they travel to St. Thomas Aquinas for a non-conference match. First serves are scheduled for 3 p.m.
