LYNDHURST, N.J. – Junior forward Joe Baccielo (Stratford, Conn.) extended his goal scoring streak to three straight games as the Post University men's soccer team earned a 1-1 draw in double overtime at Felician on Wednesday night to open Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play. The Eagles earned at least a point in the conference opener for the fourth straight season.

Baccielo helped Post (2-1-1, 0-0-1 CACC) gain the lead for the third consecutive match with his CACC-leading sixth goal of the year. He finished a ball from 10 yards out that was played to him by freshman Francisco Sastre (Sao Paulo, Brazil). The helper marked Sastre's second in as many games. The Eagles took a 1-0 lead into halftime.

Felician's (2-1-1, 1-0-1 CACC) Keleenna Onyeaka leveled the score at 1-1 in the 73rd minute off of a Golden Falcons' corner kick taken by Lau SanFilippo. The tally brought a close to a scoreless streak for Post senior goalkeeper Errol Reid (Clarendon, Jamaica) that spanned 301:20. Reid made two saves in the game.

For the match, Post held a 15-6 edge in shots, and an 8-1 edge in corner kicks. The Eagles put one shot on goal in the first overtime period, but could not convert on the golden goal. Individually, Baccielo led all players with six shots and three shots on goal.

The Eagles will return to the pitch on Saturday, Sept. 15, when they travel to Philadelphia University for a CACC matchup. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:30 p.m.
