WATERBURY, Conn. – The Post University women's soccer team lost its 2012 season-opener to Georgian Court 1-0 at LaMoy Field. A Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match, the Eagles were outshot 8-4 in the contest.

The lone goal was scored by Georgian Court's Kaitlyn Hartkopf off a free kick from 23 yards out in the 43
rd minute.
Georgian Court (1-0, 1-0 CACC) boasted a 7-1 edge in corner kicks.
Post (0-1, 0-1 CACC) will return to the pitch on Tuesday, Sept. 4, when it hosts Saint Thomas Aquinas in a non-conference match. The contest is slated to start at 4 p.m.
