The Post University women's basketball team will be looking to continue its four-game winning streak as they welcome Southern New Hampshire to Waterbury for a non-conference tilt on Saturday, Dec. 15 at 2 p.m.
The Eagles have posted their best start in school history and sit at 6-3 overall and 5-0 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play. They are 3-1 at home this season.

Despite a season-high 26 turnovers, the Post University women's basketball won its ninth straight CACC game and fourth consecutive overall a victory at Chestnut Hill on Saturday. Junior
Fernanda Mansilla recorded 11 assists, the highest total since the 2005-06 season. The Eagles boasted three players in double figures, led by junior
Aubrey Latham with 19 points off the bench. Latham shot 8-for-11 from the free throw line and grabbed seven boards. Senior
Casey Brooks added 14 points and a game-high nine rebounds.
Post led right from the tip-off and didn't look back as it opened up a 16-4 lead early on at the 13:39 mark of the first. Brooks scored five points out of the gate. Mansilla hit a three-pointer minutes later to give the Eagles their largest lead of the half at 24-11 with 10:11 left in the first.
Chestnut Hill closed the gap to 62-59 late after a Lindsey Alexander layup with 2:03 left. Post closed out the game on 7-2 run as Latham, Mansilla, and Brooks hit clutch free-throws down the stretch to give the Eagles the victory.
SERIES HISTORY:The Eagles have never defeated Southern New Hampshire in their Division II history. In the only matchup between the two at the Drubner Center, Post fell 76-67 on Jan. 26, 2004.

SCOUTING THE PENMENSouthern New Hampshire comes into Saturday's contest at a record of 4-4 overall and 2-4 in Northeast-10 (NE-10) play. In their last outing on Dec. 10, the Penmen outrebounded Mercy 64-31 and won easily, 89-42. Against CACC opponents this season Southern New Hampshire is 1-0 as it defeated Chestnut Hill 56-51 on Nov. 25.
The Penmen are led by senior forward Sloane Sorrell who averages a team-high 14.8 points and 9.8 rebounds per game. She also leads Southern New Hampshire with a 57.8 shooting percentage. The Penmen lead the NE-10 30.6 defensive rebounds per game and opponents shooting percentage of 33.8%. They are third in the conference with a 34.3 shooting percentage from behind the arc.

Aubrey Latham are in the top four in the CACC in shooting percentage behind the arc. Webber is first at 46.7% and Latham sits in fourth at 41.7%. Latham is also fifth in scoring at 16.1 points per game.
LIVE BY THE THREEThe Eagles have been knocking down shots from behind the arc all season. In all six victories this season, Post has taken over 20 shots from distance and made at least seven. The Eagles are the top three-point shooting team in the conference at 7.6 made per game. Against Molloy, they made a season-high 11 from distance.
DISHING OUT THE ASSISTSJunior
Fernanda Mansilla has been putting her teammates in position to score all season. She has 56 total assists on the season and leads the CACC and is fifth in the nation with 6.2 assists per contest. Against Chestnut Hill on Dec. 8, Mansilla dished out 11 assists, the highest total by an Eagle since the 2004-05 season.
COUNTDOWN TO 1,000 POINTSAubrey Latham comes into the week with 875 career points and is just 125 points away from joining the 1,000-point club. In her only career matchup against Southern New Hampshire on Dec. 17, 2011, Latham was held to just nine points.
PRESEASON PROGNOSTICATIONSPost was selected to finish fifth in the North Division of the CACC in the preseason poll announced on Nov. 12. The Eagles received 35 total points in the poll. Caldwell garnered 89 points and 11 first place votes and was selected as the North Division favorite. Defending conference champion, Holy Family, earned 95 points and 11 first place votes and was tabbed as the South Division favorite.

Aubrey Latham captains for the 2012-13 season. Brooks is one of the Eagles' top shooters. She led the team and was second in the conference with a 38.9 shooting percentage from behind the arc. Chance was 13th in NCAA Division II with 11.3 rebounds per game and named CACC Honorable Mention in 2011-12. Latham led the Eagles in scoring in 2011-12, averaging 15.5 points per game. She comes into the season just 238 points away from 1,000 for her career.
