MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The Eagles golf team finished 11
th out of 15 schools at the Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate at Sea Trail Country Club in Myrtle Beach, S.C. on Tuesday. Post shot a team score of 595, led by senior
Thomas Rees (Cardiff, Wales) at 144 (73-71).
Rees carded a one-under 71 on Tuesday and finished tied for 22
nd out of 78 golfers. The Eagles leader after round one, freshman Dan Bradbury (Liverpool, England), shot a 76 in round two and a 148 (72-76) overall to finish tied for 39
th.
Freshman Michele Forgione (Lincolnshire, England) carded a 149 (74-75) to end in tie for 43
rd. Junior
Ross Earnshaw (York, England) shot a 154 (75-79) and finished in a tie for 60
th. Freshman
Patrick Hartnett (Chicago, Ill.) was tied for 73
rd a 161 (82-79).
Daniel Claytor of Barton College finished first overall at 137 (68-69). Mount Olive College was the top team at 563 (280-283).
Post will be back in action on Monday, Oct. 8, for the first round of the Connecticut Cup at Ellington Ridge Country Club in Ellington, Conn.
