Eagles Tied For Ninth After First Round Of Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate

Dan Bradbury Sits In 20th After Even-Par 72 On Monday

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The Post University golf team shot a team score of 294 on Monday at the Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate at Sea Trail Country Club in Myrtle Beach, S.C. The Eagles sit in a tie for ninth place out of 15 schools after the first round.
 
Freshman Dan Bradbury (Liverpool, England) shot the low round for Post with an even-par 72. He is currently tied for 20th  out of 77 golfers and only four strokes behind the leaders. Senior Thomas Rees (Cardiff, Wales) is tied for 31st after an opening-round 73.
 
Freshman Michele Forgione (Lincolnshire, England) carded a 74 and is tied for 40th. Junior Ross Earnshaw (York, England) shot a 75 and is tied for 45th. Freshman Patrick Hartnett (Chicago, Ill.) is tied for 71st after an 82 on Monday.
 
Barton's Daniel Claytor sits in first after shooting a four-under 68. Mount Olive College holds the team lead at 280.
 
The Eagles will be back in action tomorrow for the second round.
