CALDWELL, NJ (September 21, 2011) Post University won its first match of the season Wednesday afternoon, but lost overall at Caldwell. The Eagles now stand at 0-4 (0-2) on the season.

In No. 1 singles, Liz Spenger took her match against Paige Alden in straight sets (6-3, 6-1). Paige Ifill and Lianna May were each defeated (6-0, 6-1).

Jackie Bonamassa put up a good effort in a (6-2, 6-0) defeat. Rebecca Erb and Bianca Lucky were both shut out.

In doubles action, Spenger and Rebecca Erb, had a good but fell 8-4. The team of Lucky and Ifill were defeated 8-1. Bonamassa and May were dropped by a score of 8-0.

The Eagles will be back on the courts Saturday afternoon at home against Holy Family.
