Three Second Half Goals Propel Eagles Past Caldwell 3-1

WATERBURY, Conn (September 16, 2011) Post University's men's soccer team scored three second half goals en route to a 3-1 victory over Caldwell Saturday afternoon. The effort now improves the Eagles to (4-0-2, 3-0 CACC).

Caldwell struck first in the opening half when Mosiah Whyte scored at 2:03 from the 18. The score would remain 1-0 heading into the half.

At 51:08 in the second half, Peter Cleary scored an unassisted goal with a shot from the right side. It was his first of the season and would tie the game at one.

Joe Dzurilla scored the game winning goal at 57:51. It was an unassisted score from 15 yards out and was also his first this season.

The combination of Matt Luis and Joe Baccielo scored the final goal of the contest at 74:28. Luis sent in a cross as Baccielo scored his third of the season with the Eagles taking the game 3-1.

Post University will return to competition on September 20 at Nyack.
