WATERBURY, CT (September 14, 2011) The Post University's men's soccer team defeated Bloomfield at home Wednesday night. Eltany Morais led the Eagles with two first half goals in the 3-1 victory.

It took the Eagles just over two minutes to notch their first goal. Peter Cleary launched a throw-in to Morais at the top of the penalty box, who headed it by the keeper. Later in the first half Morais scored another on a short pass from Francis Eno.

Bloomfield got on the board near the end of the half as Juan Ramirez scored with about three minutes left. They looked to tie early in the second half, but a shot by Momar Diop on an open net was blocked by a sliding teammate.

Francis Eno added a goal at 80:27 on a long pass from Errol Reid to put the finishing touches on the victory, which put the Eagles at 2-0-2 (2-0-0) on the season.

Post University will be back in action on Saturday afternoon at Caldwell.
