WILMINGTON, DE (October 8, 2011) The Post University men's soccer team got back on track Saturday afternoon by defeating Goldey-Beacom, 3-1. The victory snaps the Eagles two-game losing streak and puts them at 6-2-4 (5-1-2) on the season.

Goldey-Beacom got on the board just three minutes in as Andre Jank bended a shot from the outside box.

At 28:30, Korab Muaremi crossed the ball into Eltani Morais who headed it into the back of the net to tie the score 1-1. Under a minute later, Peter Cleary setup for a free kick and scored to put the Eagles ahead for good. Hyton Davis added another off a Cleary corner kick at 48:45.

The Eagles outshot the Lightning, who fell to 0-8-0 (0-6-0) on the season, 21-10. Davis had six shots and Morais added four, each had three on goal.

Errol Reid had three saves in the victory for Post, who is now tied with Holy Family atop the CACC standings.

The Eagles will be back in action on Thursday afternoon at home against Concordia.
