WATERBURY, Conn (September 18, 2010) The Lady Eagles troubles continue as they allowed 5 different Wilmington players notch goals on Saturday with 4 of them coming in the first half of play, in a 5-0 loss.
The first goal of the game came just four minutes into the game as Wilmington's Brittany Rhodes knocked in a goal after the Eagles keeper
Liz Johnson was knocked down on the play leaving a small opening for Rhodes to capitalized on. With one half of play complete the Wildcats led 4-0.
The second half was more balanced game however with the Eagles only giving up one goal. Wilmington's Amanda Davis netted a header giving the Wildcats a 5-0 lead.
The loss pushes the Eagles back to 0-7 and will be looking to get their first win when they return to action Monday against the University of Bridgeport at LaMoy Field.
