Men's Soccer Tops Nyack 5-2 in Home Opener

WATERBURY, Conn (September 16, 2010) Post University's men's soccer team defeated Nyack College 5-2 Thursday afternoon. The Eagles are now 2-2, (2-0 CACC).

Bobby Caskran put Nyack on the scoreboard first with an unassisted goal 10:44 into the contest.

Francis Eno would tie the game for the Eagles just thirteen minutes later with an unassisted goal of his own off a penalty kick. Then Daniel Baccielo scored his first of the season, giving Post University a 2-1 edge. Nyack scored once more to tie the game at the half.

Leslie Ayafor would put the Eagles up for good with two goals in the second half. The first was assisted by Eno, while the second went unassisted. Eno scored the final goal of the game with 27 seconds to play for a 5-2 Eagle win.

Post University will be back in action Saturday at home against Wilmington. Game time is set for 3pm.
