Eagles Men's Soccer Shutout by Top Ranked Bloomfield 2-0

LAKEWOOD, NJ (November 4, 2010) Post University's men's soccer post season run came to a close early Thursday afternoon when top seeded Bloomfield took a 2-0 victory in the CACC semi-final. Eagle keeper Errol Reid had three saves in the match.

Triston Sommerville scored the eventual game winner at 35:29 into the first half assisted by Juan Ramirez. Sommerville would grab an assist in the second half feeding Peter Beckford with only 1:25 to play in the game.

In rain soaked conditions, the Eagles matched the Deacons in shots at five, but could not find the back of the net as Steven Alonso is credited with the shutout victory.

The win advances Bloomfield to the CACC final that will be played Saturday afternoon.
