Men's Basketball Hosts Franklin Pierce Thursday Night

WATERBURY, Conn (January 13, 2010 ) Post University's  Men's Basketball team will host Franklin Pierce University Thursday night at the Drubner Center. The Eagles come into the non-conference contest 4-10, while Franklin Pierce is 6-8.

Post University is coming off a conference road loss against Wilmington University 78-70. Waterbury native Jon Lucky leads the Eagles in scoring with 18.1 points per game adding 7.6 rebounds. Three time CACC Rookie of the Week Trevon Hamlet, is averaging 16.9 point per game and pulling in 6.9 rebounds. 

Franklin Pierce is led by Terrell Ray with 16.2 points per game and 9.6 rebounds. Kinard Dosier is scoring 14.9 points per game and has dished out 41 assists this season. The Ravens played their last game on the road against New Haven losing 72-71 in overtime.

 Thursday's game is the second time Post University will play Franklin Pierce this season. The first meeting was on November 18th with Raven's winning an 88-81 point game. The game will be the one of two remaining non-conference contests left on the Eagles schedule.

Tip-off is set for 7:30pm at the Drubner Center.
