Corey Huffine Named to the 2nd East Region Baseball Team

WATERBURY, CT – Corey Huffine, the senior third basemen for Post's 2009 Baseball team, has been named to the 2nd East Region Team. He is one of 17 players in the CACC selected.

This season Huffine was a key factor in the Eagles success. He maintained a (.350) batting average throughout the season while compiling 55 hits and 22 RBIs. He only struck out 9 times this season and registered 8 stolen bases.

Among conference leaders, he was 6th in batting average throughout the CACC.

Looking forward to next season, Corey's leadership and playing ability will be an area of the team the Eagles need to replace after examining their success in 2009.
