Cross Country Runs Well in Season Opening Loss to Bridgeport
WATERBURY, CT - Mark Spellman (So.- Waterbury, CT) and Jeff Lundell (So.- Kentridge, NV) came in 1st and 2nd for the Post University men's cross country team, and Megan Oates (Sr.- Wareham, MA) time of 25:59 was good enough for a 4th place finish for the women, but it was not quite enough as the University of Bridgeport defeated the Eagles in a season opening meet at Hop Brooke Park.
Both Spellman and Lundell finished nearly three minutes ahead of Bridgeport's top finisher.
