Post University Women's Basketball Falls to Dominican 63-47

WATERBURY, Conn. (December 8, 2009) The Post University Women's Basketball team fell to Dominican College 63-47, Tuesday night at the Drubner Center. The Eagles now stand at 3-4 overall and 0-1 in the CACC.

Jhenel Franklin lead the Eagles with 15 points and 5 rebounds. Aubrey Latham had a double double scoring 10 points with 11 rebounds.  

Post University competed with Dominican for the first seven minutes of the contest before the Chargers went on a 15-0 run taking the wind from the sails of the Eagles. Post University struggled the rest of the half to a 39-18 point deficit at the half.

The Eagles outscored Dominican 29-24 in the second half and cut the lead down to 14 with 6:01 to play in the game, but would not get any closer losing 63-47.

Dominican's Adele Laskowski scored 12 points with 7 rebounds in the winning effort. 

Post University will be back in action again on Thursday night against Felician.
