Men's Basketball Sweeps Bridgeport Tournament with 78-74 Win Over NYIT

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (November 21, 2009) Post University's Men's Basketball team picked up its 2nd win in as many days by defeating NYIT 78-74. The win improves the Eagles record to 2-2 this season.

Jon Lucky led scoring for Post University with 22 points and 8 rebounds. To start the game New York Tech went on a 6-0 run. With 3:30 left to play in the first half the Ealge lead was 18. At halftime Post University led 42-33.

The Eagles would not relinquish the led, but NYIT came within one point at the 3:32 mark of the second half. Post University would secure the win with four made free throws by Nyheem Sanders.

Post University will have a few weeks off before hosting Dominican for the first conference game of the season on December 8th.
