Franklin Pierce Edges Men's Basketball 88-81

RINDGE, NH (November 18, 2009) Post University's Men's Basketball team suffered its second loss of the young season Wednesday night against Franklin Pierce 88-81. The loss puts the Eagles 0-2 this season.

The Eagles had a 47-37 lead at halftime shooting 54.1% from the floor. In the second half, Post University was 30.8% from the floor.

Post University led the game until 4:32 left in the second half when Franklin Pierce, who trailed by as much as 11 came back with a 3 pointer from Kinard Dossier. Franklin Pierce would not look back en route to the victory.

Jon Lucky registered his first double double as an Eagle with 27 points, 16 in the first half and 12 rebounds. Trevon Hamlet scored 20 for the second consecutive game.

Post University will be in action again Saturday at Bridgeport.
