Caldwell Downs Men's Soccer in OT 2-1

CALDWELL, N.J. (October 8, 2009) In an overtime conference matchup, Caldwell defeated Post University's Men's Soccer team 2-1.
Johan Pineda scored the lone goal for the Eagles.
Caldwell's first goal was actually scored of one of the Eagle's defenders after Kieran Bisland crossed a shot that ended up in the back of the net. Caldwell held on to the 1-0 advantage for over 40 minutes.
Pineda scored from 25 yards out 20 minutes into the second half, tying the game at one and eventually going into overtime.
In the golden goal overtime period, Caldwell's Carlos Sanchez netted the winning goal 7:09 into the extra stanza, past substitute keeper Errol Reid.
Nicholas Gutbrod started the game in net for the Eagles allowing one goal and making two saves.
Post University will be back in action against Goldey Beacom on Saturday.
