Post University Equestrians Place 5th in Opener

WATERBURY, Conn. (October 7, 2009) At the first show of the semester hosted by the University of Rhode Island, the Post University Equestrian Team placed 5th out of 11 teams, which is remarkable considering the team has no rider in the Walk/Trot category and is one of the smaller teams in the Region.

Freshmen Kelsey Stinneford (Wayne, Maine) and Desmond O'Leary (Westwood, Mass) won their Intermediate Fences class, while junior Domenique Cogliano (Stamford, Conn) won the Novice Flat class and placed 4th in Novice Fences. 

Senior Megan Dolinskas (Cazenovia, N.Y.) placed 4th in Open Fences while sophomore Meaghan Hennessy (Roslindale, Mass.) placed 2nd in Novice Fences. Freshman Lauren Donohue (Sterling, Mass.) was 4th in Novice Flat.
