Post University IHSA Hunt Seat and Western Teams Announce Fall Schedules

Hunt Seat Opens With Home Show On Oct. 4

WATERBURY, Conn. – The Post University Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) Hunt Seat and Western teams announced their fall schedules on Wednesday. The Hunt Seat schedule features seven events, while the Western team will ride in five events.
 
Hunt Seat will open its schedule on Oct. 4 with a home show at Fox Ridge Farm in Newtown, Conn. The following weekend the team will ride at an event hosted by Sacred Heart and Yale on Oct. 11. The team will continue its schedule on Oct. 18 at Connecticut College in New London, Conn. After events at Fairfield (Oct. 25 and Nov. 15) and Wesleyan (Nov. 8), the fall season ends at UConn on Nov. 22.
 
The Western team begins on Oct. 11 at the Sacred Heart event. On Nov. 8, the team heads to South Hadley, Mass. for an event hosted by Mount Holyoke. The riders then go to events hosted by UConn (Nov. 15) and UMass-Amherst (Nov. 23) before closing out their season back at Mount Holyoke on Dec. 6.
