Orangeburg, NY (October 14, 2009) Post University Men's Soccer snapped Dominican College's seven game winning streak 2-0. Dominican is currently ranked 10th in the nation by the NSCAA.

“The way this team is coming on strong in the second half reminds me a lot of our championship run at the end of last season,” said Head Coach Ted Haley. “The guys are playing for each other and the win sets us up nicely for the weekend ahead.”

The Eagles got on the board in the 42nd minute of action as sophomore Eltany Morias netted a goal off the dish from senior Johan Pineda.

Post's second goal came off the foot of Pineda at 57:36 on an indirect kick.

The Chargers outshot the Eagles 12-9 and held a 6-2 advantage in corner kicks.

Eagle keeper Errol Reid made five saves in the win.

With the win the Eagles improve to 4-7-2 overall and 3-3-1 in the CACC, while the Chargers fall to 11-1-2 overall and 6-1-1 in the CACC.

Post University will play again on Sunday against Felician.
