WATERBURY, Conn. -- On Wednesday afternoon, the Spring 2026 Northeast10 Honor Roll was announced, seeing Post University Men's Ice Hockey land 28 players on the list, while Post University Football tallied 27 honorees for a combined 55 student-athletes being named to the honor between the two squads.
In all, 15 players were awarded the Academic Excellence mark after finishing the semester with a perfect 4.0 GPA, including sophomore
DJ Alston, freshman
Nathan Hawkins, and graduate student
Ajay Morrison. The other 12 came from Men's Ice Hockey in seniors
Benjamin Cunneen, Nate McDevitt, and
Ryan O'Connell, junior Conner McCowell, sophomores
Owen Atkinson,
Jonathan Meijer, and
Eoin Reager, as well as freshmen
AJ Guzzardi,
James Hope,
Cole Ranta, and
Cayden Sweitzer.
Of the 27 players from Football, eight of them earned Academic Distinction after netting a GPA between 3.50 and 3.99, while Men's Ice Hockey had 14 in that same category for a combined 22 honorees. In the Academic Honors category, which encompasses individuals with GPAs between 3.00 and 3.49, two players from the Men's Ice Hockey team achieved that mark, while the remaining 16 Football players combined to make it 18 total student-athletes in that honor.
As a team, Men's Ice Hockey finished the spring with a 3.76 GPA while Football recorded a 2.86 GPA.
