RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Junior goalkeeper
Aryn Nisbet picked up her first collegiate shutout as Post University Women's Soccer worked to a scoreless tie against Felician University, snapping their four-game losing streak to start the season and eight-game losing streak overall. It was the first time since September 28th, 2005, that the Eagles and Golden Falcons ended a match in a tie, while Post remained unbeaten against Felician in their last eight matchups since 2017.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Defense would be the story of the entire affair on both sides as Nisbet recorded two saves in the net for the Eagles. In comparison, sophomore goalkeeper Isabella Riollano needed to make three saves for Felician. The shutout was the first of Nisbet's career in 22 starts, and for Riollano, the fourth in six games this season in net. Only eight combined shots and two combined saves made up the opening 45 minutes of action, with Felician generating three corner kick opportunities, including one following senior forward Briana Franco's shot attempt against Nisbet in the 44th minute.
Junior defender
Taylor Morales, junior midfielder
Reese Kloetzer, and sophomore midfielder
Rhee Morrison were responsible for the season-high three shots on goal that the Eagles generated against Riollano. The match ended with Felician holding a 10-7 edge in shots overall as well as an 8-2 lead in corner kicks. Despite Post inducing nine fouls to only seven for Felician, senior defender Evee Augustine would account for the lone yellow card of the match for the Golden Falcons in the 67th minute.
Inside the final 10 minutes, a Post corner kick in the 85th minute saw the ball carom through a host of players and eventually find the foot of Morales, whose shot on the ground was corralled by Riollano. Responding in kind, Felician's corner kick opportunity and subsequent shot attempts over the final three minutes would be blocked by a host of Eagles in front of the net protecting Nisbet, resulting in the 0-0 tie.
