PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Heading into their first conference matchup of the season, Post University Women's Soccer looked to right the ship after an 0-3-0 start with losses against Northeast-10 Conference teams, facing last year's conference champion, Jefferson University, on Saturday afternoon on the road. The Eagle offense was unable to generate more than one shot on goal against freshman goalkeeper Kali Reddy, falling 3-0 and dropping to 0-4 to start the 2025 season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Junior midfielder Kyra Lesko opened up the scoring in only the fourth minute of the match, netting her fifth goal of the season against junior goalkeeper
Aryn Nisbet, who got the start in net for the Eagles today, with the help of junior midfielder Evelin Ventura-Garcia. Lesko would be the first of three different scorers for Jefferson in the affair, as the Rams led 1-0 heading into halftime, outshooting Post by a 12-1 margin overall and 7-1 in shots on goal.
Only 52 seconds into the second half, senior forward Avery Nogami beat Nisbet with a shot, using junior forward Alexa Callahan's assist to extend the Ram lead to two goals. Senior forward Mia Ferrera capped off the trifecta of goals for Jefferson in the 71st minute, scoring for the first time this season as Post fell to 0-4-0 on the young campaign with the 3-0 loss.
As a team, the Eagles were outshot 24-1 for the match, while Nisbet made nine saves on 12 attempts from the Rams. Junior midfielder Reese Kloezter had the lone shot on goal for Post in the ninth minute, testing Reddy, who picked up the one-save shutout, with a shot to the right side.
