HOW IT HAPPENED
Junior midfielder
Audrey Cadman had the lone shot on goal for Post, which came in the ninth minute of the match and was corralled by freshman goalkeeper Jess LaCroix. That would be the lone save LaCroix needed to make as she picked up her third shutout win in as many games this season for the Ravens and is a perfect 5-for-5 on shots she has faced across her 270 minutes of action.
Despite being outshot 22-1 overall and 7-1 in shots on goal, the Eagles only trailed by one at the halftime break on a goal from senior midfielder Olivia Crespo, before a six-goal second half allowed Franklin Pierce to pull away for the decisive victory. Three Ravens finished with a goal and an assist in Crespo, senior midfielder Claudia Peirce, and junior midfielder Jenni Huttunen, while nine other players recorded either a goal or an assist.
Junior goalkeeper
Aryn Nisbet made eight saves in 77:33 of action, allowing six goals along the way before graduate goalkeeper
Hannah Marriott played the final 12:27 to the tune of one save and one goal allowed. Post was outshot in the affair 41-1 overall, including 19-0 in the second half, and 16-1 in shots on goal after 90 minutes.
