HOW IT HAPPENED

Raimondi was one of five Georgian Court players with a hat trick, one of eight different players to score a goal, and just one of two players to record an assist as freshman midfielder Nena Menard accounted for the only other one.

As a team, the Lions manufactured 22 goals with only nine assists for a team total of 31 points offensively, while Menard dominated the draw controls with 11 wins, followed by seven from junior midfielder Caitlin Petrellese. Post won just four of the 25 draw controls as junior midfielder Anna D'Angelo won a team-high two in the game. Junior defender Tymmarie Grom led the Eagles with four caused turnovers on the defensive end, as well as tied for the team lead in ground balls with two.

Three different goalies made an appearance in the joint shutout win for the Lions as sophomore goalie Cadence Gentile picked up the win after making two saves in the first half. Freshman goalie Mary Costello and junior goalie Natalie Moradian each played a quarter in the second half, not needing to make a save in their combined 30 minutes of action.

Graduate goalie Lauren Bain and freshman goalie Aviana Ramos each split a half for the Eagles as Bain made two saves after allowing the first 12 shots by the Lions to find the back of the net while Ramos made four saves and allowed 10 second-half goals. Post as a team was outshot 36-5 overall and 21-1 in shots on goal while having two free-position shots which D'Angelo nor junior defender Paige Pipher were able to convert on.
