Isaiah Velazco - Pitcher of the Week - Baseball
Velazco was near-perfect this week for Post as the Eagles went 3-1 with wins over Holy Family University and the University of Bridgeport. Working his way to a .692 batting average, Velazco was 9-for-13 with six RBIs, four runs scored, three stolen bases, three walks, two doubles, and a triple. The senior did most of his work in Sunday's doubleheader sweep of the Purple Knights after going a perfect 7-for-7 with four RBIs, two stolen bases, two runs scored, a double, triple, and a walk as the Eagles won 11-6 and 2-0.
Joe Christiana - Pitcher of the Week - Baseball
Christiana made history for the Eagles in his Sunday start against the University of Bridgeport in which he threw a complete game shutout. Throwing all seven innings of the 2-0 win, Christiana allowed just two hits while striking out 10 batters and walking three to move to 5-0 on the season while picking up career win 23, the most in program history as he surpassed Nick Arnold's mark of 22.
Aiden Waller - Honor Roll - Men's Lacrosse
Waller picked up his fifth win of the season between the pipes for Post with their 18-11 win over the University of Bridgeport over the weekend to inch the Eagles closer to a tournament spot. Waller made 12 saves while allowing just 11 goals across 57:43 of action as Post outscored the Purple Knights by a 6-1 margin in the final quarter to pull away for the win.
Robbie McGrayne - Honor Roll - Men's Lacrosse
McGrayne showed out on Senior Day for Post in their lone game of the week against the University of Bridgeport, helping lead the Eagles to an 18-11 victory. McGrayne put himself in the lead on the team for goals scored after scoring seven times while adding two assists for a total of nine points as well as three ground balls.
