Damaurys Rodriguez - Player of the Week - Baseball
Rodriguez hit .600 on the week for Post as the Eagles went 5-1 over the course of their six-game week, including 4-0 in conference play. Rodriguez was 12-for-20 with two doubles, a triple, nine RBIs, six runs scored, and two walks along the way while delivering three RBIs in a pinch-hitting capacity in game two of the doubleheader against Southern Connecticut State University on Saturday afternoon to help the Eagles complete the comeback with an 8-5 win.
Brennan Holligan - Honor Roll - Baseball
Holligan dominated on the mound in his lone start of the week for the Eagles in Saturday's 6-1 win in game one over Southern Connecticut State University. Holligan threw seven innings in which he allowed just one run on three hits while striking out six batters and walking three to move to 3-1 on the season in five total starts.
Leighton Cooke - Honor Roll - Men's Lacrosse
Cooke continued his hat trick streak, extending it to eight straight games for the Eagles during a 1-1 week for Post in conference play. Cooke had his third straight seven-point game, scoring five times and assisting on two goals in a 14-4 win for Post against Caldwell University earlier in the week before tallying three more goals on the road against Georgian Court in a 14-10 defeat over the weekend for a total of eight goals and two assists for 10 total points during the week.
Will Brien - Honor Roll - Men's Lacrosse
Brien had a solid week off the bench for Post, scoring seven goals for seven points to go along with six ground balls and two caused turnovers during a 1-1 week for the Eagles. Brien went off for five goals on Saturday afternoon in a 14-10 loss to Georgian Court University while also picking up four ground balls and one caused turnover. Brien had two goals, two ground balls, and a caused turnover earlier in the week in a 14-4 win over Caldwell University at home.
