WATERBURY, Conn. -- On Tuesday afternoon, the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Teams were announced for both Men's and Women's Soccer across all three NCAA Divisions and the NAIA. Both the Post University Men's and Women's Soccer programs had the combined maximum number of student-athletes make the list, with 12 players total, six each from the men's and women's teams.
Among those honorees for Head Coach
Ted Haley's team were senior forward
Mohammad Sanyang, senior midfielder
Lukas Glade, junior goalkeeper
Leopold Dufaut, graduate midfielder
Pablo Tenorio, senior midfielder
Diego Righi, and senior midfielder
Matheus Milagres, who were all first-time recipients.Â
For first-year Head Coach
Meagan Ryan, her team saw junior midfielder
Reese Kloetzer, senior defender
Zoe Mier, and junior goalkeeper
Aryn Nisbet as repeat recipients, while junior midfielder
Jordyn Calas, sophomore midfielder
Rhee Morrison, and graduate defender
Alyanna Beaudoin joined the mix this year.
In order to qualify, student-athletes must compete in 90% of their institution's games/contests/sets played or must start in at least 66% of the games/contests/sets in addition to achieving a high level of academic success in the classroom.Â
