Luis Rodrigues all landed on the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference's Weekly Awards list, while graduate outside hitter
Kristina Peric earned her three CACC Player of the Week honor and fifth weekly accolade overall for Post University Women's Volleyball as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.
Kristina Peric - Player of the Week - Women's Volleyball
Peric had a team-best 46 kills after recording back-to-back matches of 20-plus kills to lead Post to a pair of conference wins over the University of Bridgeport and Goldey-Beacom College. Peric had 24 kills against the Purple Knights with a .242 attack percentage, followed by 22 kills against the Lightning to go along with a .096 attack percentage. Her week culminated with 5.11 kills per set, 18 digs, three total blocks, and two assists.
Agnaldo Germano - Defensive Player/Rookie of the Week - Men's Soccer
Germano dominated in the backfield for Post, playing 163 of a possible 180 minutes for the Eagles to help them go 1-0-1. Ranked #14 in the nation, the Eagles worked a scoreless tie against Dominican (N.Y.) before winning 3-1 against Holy Family University on Saturday. Germano anchored a defense that allowed just six shots on goal throughout those two games.
Leopold Dufaut - Honor Roll - Men's Soccer
Dufaut continued to dazzle in net for Post with his fourth consecutive shutout before seeing the streak come to an end in a 3-1 win over Holy Family University this weekend. Going 1-0-1 in net across the full 180 minutes played, Dufaut made five saves on six total shots between the two games to move to 4-0-4 in goal.
Luis Rodrigues - Honor Roll - Men's Soccer
Rodrigues helped Post remain unbeaten through eight matches this season after a 1-0-1 week for the #14 team in the nation. Rodrigues recorded the first road hat trick by an Eagle since
Francisco Sousa's on September 17th, 2022, against Goldey-Beacom College to help the Eagles remain unbeaten through eight matches this season with a 3-1 win over the Tigers. The last official hat trick of any kind in Post history also came in 2022 on October 8th, when Nick Anagnostiadis had one against D'Youville University at home. Rodrigues had a team-best three goals and six points overall during the week.
