WATERBURY, Conn. -- For the fifth time this season, senior libero Alyssa Groves was named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference's Defensive Player of the Week for Post University Women's Volleyball, while junior middle blocker Nuri Shahid-Stevenson was named to the CACC Honor Roll alongside with Saturday night's hero for Post University Men's Soccer in graduate midfielder Luis Rodrigues as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon. 

Alyssa Groves - Defensive Player of the Week - Women's Volleyball
Groves dominated in digs for Post this week, averaging 6.11 digs per set after the Eagles played nine sets between their two wins against Felician and Jefferson University this week. Groves tallied 55 total digs to go along with 16 assists, three service aces, and one kill, including 30 digs against the Rams.

Nuri Shahid-Stevenson - Honor Roll - Women's Volleyball 
Shahid-Stevenson turned in a solid week for Post as the Eagles went 2-0 in conference play against Felician and Jefferson University. Shahid-Stevenson had 23 kills, the second-most of the team, with only five errors for a .375 attack percentage, averaging 2.56 kills per game, as well as tacking on 10 total blocks and two digs. The junior had eight total blocks over the weekend in a five-set win for the Eagles against Jefferson.


Luis Rodrigues - Honor Roll - Men's Soccer
Rodrigues helped Post remain unbeaten during the 2025 campaign with his last-minute goal against Goldey-Beacom College in Post's 1-1 tie with the Lightning. Scoring in the 89th minute, Rodrigues' free kick came from nearly 25 yards out, hitting the top of the net for the score.
