Recruit Report takes a look at all the incoming student-athletes for each program ahead of their 2025-26 athletic season and highlights all incoming student-athletes who filled out the recruitment form available to them during the summer of their first season at Post University.
WATERBURY, Conn. -- Now in her third season leading the Post University Women's Basketball program, Head Coach
Courtney Burns has brought in seven new recruits or transfers to supplement her 15-man squad for the 2025-26 season, which kicks off for the Eagles on November 14th at 4:00 PM with a road matchup against Southern New Hampshire University in the SNHU Tip-Off Invitational. Post is coming off a season in which they finished 10-19 overall and 9-7 in conference play, finishing the regular season on a five-game winning streak before falling to Holy Family University in the CACC Quarterfinals.
Jaslin Walker
Walker comes to Post from Glen Cove, New York
, after playing for Bishop Loughlin High School as well as several club teams, which include the Empire State Blue Flames, Gauchos, Brooklyn Stars, Exodus New York, and the Riverside Hawks. From 2021-23, Walker averaged 21 points per game while shooting 67% from the free-throw line and 70% from the field in addition to her 11 rebounds and 12 assists per game. Walker was a CHSAA'AA Champion as a freshman as well as an MVP.
Lauralye Kennedy
A native of Pennsylvania,
Lauralye Kennedy had a storied high school career at Northeastern Senior High in Manchester, Pennsylvania, where she three-time All-Star and broke a school record. Kennedy was a First Team All-Star during the 2022-23 season before being named a Second Team All-Star in both the 2023-24 and 2024-25 seasons, while also breaking the score record for most three-pointers made in a season with 81 during her senior year. Playing for the 717HoopDreams Club Team, she also broke the club's record for most threes made in a single game with nine back in 2024.
Megan Landsiedel
Landsiedel returns to her home state, having grown up in nearby Stamford, Connecticut, and played at Stamford High School, as she will be a graduate student now at Post University. Back in high school, Landsiedel was a CHSCA Class LL All-State First Teamer as a senior as well as a Fairfield County Interscholastic Athletic Conference First Team selection as both a junior and senior. She was also a McDonald's All-American nominee in her senior year and named to the Connecticut JCC Schoolgirl All-American Games, which were canceled due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
In college, she played for Division II Lenoir-Rhyne University, where she led the conference in assist-turnover ratio her first season, while helping her team win the South Atlantic Conference Championship during the 2022-23 season, while also yet again being first in the conference for assist-turnover ratio in addition to fourth in three-point shooting at 40.8%, and tenth for steals per game. Landsiedel proceeded to finish second in assist-turnover ratio during the 2023-24 season before missing last year due to injury.
Claire Greene
A multi-sport athlete, Greene will play both Women's Basketball and Women's Lacrosse in what will be her senior year here at Post. On the court, Greene appeared in 83 games, starting 13 of them over the course of three seasons at Division III Rhode Island College, in which she averaged 2.7 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 0.7 assists per game while shooting 34.4% from the floor and 23.4% from beyond the arc. Greene was part of two Little East Conference Championships as the Anchorwomen made it to the NCAA Tournament's Final Four one year and the Sweet Sixteen the other.
Tiara Tyson
A Connecticut native,
Tiara Tyson comes from nearby Division I Central Connecticut State University, where she did not play her freshman season. While at Manchester High School, Tyson was named to the All-Conference Team four times, All-State twice, was named the Team MVP once, and broke the school record for most points with 50 in a single game.
Aubri Hoose
Playing three sports in high school,
Aubri Hoose comes to Post with a background playing Women's Soccer, Women's Basketball, and Softball during her time at Oceanside High School in Rockland, Maine. In basketball, Hoose was a two-time First Team Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference (KVAC) honoree and two-time All-Defensive Team recipient, while also being named to the All-Academic Team and helping the team to three KVAC Championships and two State Championships. As for soccer, she was also twice a First Team KVAC honor, Team MVP, and All-Academic Team, helping them win a KVAC Championship as well. Finally, in softball, Hoose was KVAC Second Team with two team MVPs and the Most Improved Team Award.
Emily Arel
One of the most prolific scorers in the history of high school basketball in the state of Connecticut,
Emily Arel was a four-time Berkshire League recipient, to go along with her three All-State honors at the Gilbert School, where she helped the team win the Berkshire League Championship in her senior season. Arel broke the school's scoring record of 1,804 points as well as the Berkshire League's scoring record of 1,924 points, capping off her career with 2,405 career points.
