WATERBURY, Conn. -- For the second straight week Post University Men's Tennis found themselves in the weekly awards for the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference as senior Anton Andersson was named CACC Player of the Week after going 2-0 last week for the Eagles as announced by the league office on Tuesday afternoon.

Andersson was a perfect 2-0 this past week for the Eagles despite them losing their lone match to Adelphi University, 4-2. In the #1 Doubles with senior Niklas Langenfeld, the duo overcame an early deficit against Hugo Munoz Reinoso and Reece Farrow for the 7-5 victory. Then in the #2 Singles, Andersson swept by Vicktor Hockl after winning set one, 6-3, and taking set two, 6-4. The pair of wins snapped a pair of two-game losing streaks in both the singles and doubles for Andersson.

After yesterday's match conference opening match against Dominican (N.Y.) was postponed, Post University is preparing for a matchup with Bentley University Thursday afternoon at 3:00 PM on the road. Although 1-3 all-time against the Falcons, the Eagles did win their last meeting which came last season in Middlebury, 6-1.
