Anton Andersson was named CACC Player of the Week after going 2-0 last week for the Eagles as announced by the league office on Tuesday afternoon.
Andersson was a perfect 2-0 this past week for the Eagles despite them losing their lone match to Adelphi University, 4-2. In the #1 Doubles with senior
Niklas Langenfeld, the duo overcame an early deficit against Hugo Munoz Reinoso and Reece Farrow for the 7-5 victory. Then in the #2 Singles, Andersson swept by Vicktor Hockl after winning set one, 6-3, and taking set two, 6-4. The pair of wins snapped a pair of two-game losing streaks in both the singles and doubles for Andersson.
After yesterday's match conference opening match against Dominican (N.Y.) was postponed, Post University is preparing for a matchup with Bentley University Thursday afternoon at 3:00 PM on the road. Although 1-3 all-time against the Falcons, the Eagles did win their last meeting which came last season in Middlebury, 6-1.Â
